How are words counted?
We count the number of words in the base language only. Multiple languages do not contribute towards your word count.
How many words are in my project?
This can vary greatly from app to app but typically :
- An app that’s less than a year old will have less than 10,000 words.
- Most mid-sized SaaS apps range between 15,000 to 30,000 words.
- Content-heavy, monolithic apps can easily surpass 100,000 words.

How is Professional Translation priced?
Professional translation is priced on a per-word basis. We count the number of words in the source language and multiply that by the per-word price.
What are Specialty languages? Why do they incur a surcharge?
Specialty languages are generally spoken in very specific, high cost of living regions of the world. High quality, professional translators are rare, and therefore command higher rates (we do not compromise on quality). A list of Specialty languages can be found on the languages page.
What currency is this in?
It’s in US dollars (USD).
Can I change plans or cancel my account later?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account at any time. Upgrade action will take effect immediately, while downgrade and cancellation actions become effective at the end of the current billing period.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Does the price include tax (VAT)?
Prices are exclusive of VAT (20%) which is applicable to UK customers and non VAT registered EU customers.
What is your refund policy?
You have 48 hours after the transaction to request a refund, but note that we reserve the right to decline that request should we see high activity on your account within this time.
